વોશિંગ્ટન/નવી દિલ્હી, 30 સપ્ટેમ્બર: અમેરિકામાં રોકાણ દ્વારા permanent residency મેળવવા ઇચ્છતા ભારતીય પરિવારો માટે EB-5 Immigrant Investor Programmeની application costમાં મોટો વધારો થવાનો છે. Regional Centre મારફતે રોકાણ કરતા applicants માટે Form I-526Eની fee હાલના $3,675થી વધીને $7,850 થશે—અંદાજે 114%નો વધારો. સીધા standalone investment કરતા applicants માટે Form I-526ની fee $3,675થી વધીને $7,615 થશે, એટલે લગભગ 107% વધારો. EB-5 route હેઠળ investor સાથે spouse અને eligible children પણ permanent residency માટે આગળ વધી શકે છે. આથી 30 નવેમ્બર પછી EB-5 દ્વારા US Green Card મેળવવાનો સરકારી filing cost નોંધપાત્ર રીતે વધી જશે, જોકે investment threshold અને મૂળ eligibility rules હાલ બદલાયા નથી.

Airlineએ તમામ મુસાફરો સુરક્ષિત અને accounted for હોવાનું જણાવ્યું છે અને relevant authorities સાથે કામ ચાલી રહ્યું હોવાનું કહ્યું છે. હાલની સ્થિતિમાં સ્થાપિત તથ્યો એટલા છે કે FZ1073એ emergency અને unlawful-interference codes transmit કર્યા, Tabukમાં સુરક્ષિત ઉતર્યું અને તમામ મુસાફરો સુરક્ષિત છે.

નવી દિલ્હી/ન્યૂયોર્ક, 30 સપ્ટેમ્બર: સંયુક્ત રાષ્ટ્ર સુરક્ષા પરિષદ—UNSCની 2028–29ની non-permanent membership માટે Asia-Pacific Groupમાં ભારત અને તાજિકિસ્તાન વચ્ચે સ્પર્ધા ઊભી થઈ છે. દેશે અગાઉથી 2028–29 માટે દાવેદારી જાહેર કરી હતી અને Organisation of Islamic Cooperation—OICએ પણ તેની candidatureને સમર્થન આપ્યું છે. ભારતે Global Southનો અવાજ, reformed multilateralism, future-ready peacekeeping, AI misuse સામે સુરક્ષા, maritime security અને terror financing સામે કાર્યવાહી જેવા મુદ્દાઓને પોતાના campaign priorities તરીકે રજૂ કર્યા છે. આ સ્પર્ધા UNSCની Asia-Pacific non-permanent seat માટે છે; ભારતની લાંબા ગાળાની અલગ માંગ UNSCમાં permanent membership અને Council reform માટે યથાવત છે.
