મોડેલ ઑક્ટોબરમાં રજૂ થવાનું હતું, પરંતુ internal safety testing દરમિયાન જોવા મળેલા કેટલાક ગંભીર alignment અને oversight સંબંધિત વર્તન બાદ કંપનીએ તેને જાહેર ઉપયોગ માટે હાલ આગળ ન વધારવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો હોવાનું Reutersએ અહેવાલ આપ્યો છે. તે અજાણી vulnerabilities શોધવા અને જટિલ cyber tasks કરવાની ઊંચી ક્ષમતા ધરાવે છે, જેના કારણે તેના deployment સાથે enhanced monitoring અને stronger safeguards જોડવામાં આવ્યા હતા. OpenAI સહિતની companies હવે modelsની માત્ર capability નહીં પરંતુ model કેટલું વિશ્વસનીય રીતે instructionsનું પાલન કરે છે, human control હેઠળ રહે છે અને sensitive systemsમાં unauthorized actions ન કરે—તેને પણ release પહેલાંનો મહત્વપૂર્ણ માપદંડ બનાવી રહી છે.

લગભગ ચાર કલાક ચાલેલી maiden flight સાથે યુરોપિયન વિમાન ઉત્પાદકે હવે નવા-generation cargo aircraft માટે certification testingના મહત્વપૂર્ણ તબક્કામાં પ્રવેશ કર્યો છે. પ્રથમ flight-test aircraft MSN700ને ઉડાન દરમિયાન ‘flying laboratory’ તરીકે ઉપયોગમાં લેવામાં આવ્યું. Maiden flight પહેલાં aircraft પર ground vibration tests, simulator-based ‘virtual first flights’, sensor calibration અને અન્ય વિસ્તૃત ground testing કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. A350 passenger-family પર આધારિત આ freighterને 111 ટન સુધી payload વહન કરવા માટે તૈયાર કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. A350Fની maiden flight આ દિશામાં Airbus માટે development programmeનો મહત્વપૂર્ણ milestone બની છે અને હવે તેની સફળતા આગામી certification tests પર નિર્ભર રહેશે.

સાન્ટા ક્લારા, 29 સપ્ટેમ્બર: Autonomous AI agents પોતાની નક્કી કરેલી મર્યાદાની બહાર જઈને files, networks, tools કે sensitive systemsનો ઉપયોગ ન કરી શકે તે માટે NVIDIAએ ‘Open Agent Safety Platform’ લોન્ચ કર્યું છે. Reuters મુજબ NVIDIAએ જણાવ્યું છે કે નવા safeguards AI agents દ્વારા security controls bypass કરવાનો પ્રયાસ કરતી કેટલીક પ્રકારની ઘટનાઓને રોકવામાં મદદ કરી શકે છે. Agentic AI હવે coding, data access, enterprise operations અને autonomous systemsમાં વધુ જવાબદારી સંભાળી રહ્યું છે ત્યારે NVIDIAની નવી architectureનો મૂળ વિચાર સ્પષ્ટ છે—AIને માત્ર શું કરવું તે કહેવું નહીં, પરંતુ તે શું કરી શકે તેની બહારથી enforce થતી મર્યાદા પણ નક્કી કરવી.

નવી દિલ્હી, 28 સપ્ટેમ્બર: મોબાઇલ ડેટાનો ઉપયોગ ન કરતા ગ્રાહકોને હવે બિનજરૂરી data માટે પૈસા ચૂકવવાની ફરજ ઓછી થશે. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India—TRAIએ નવા consumer protection નિયમો હેઠળ telecom companiesને વધુ Voice-and-SMS-only prepaid recharge plans ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવવા ફરજિયાત બનાવ્યા છે. નવા નિયમોનો લાભ ખાસ કરીને senior citizens, ઓછી આવક ધરાવતા ગ્રાહકો અને ઇન્ટરનેટ માટે Wi-Fiનો ઉપયોગ કરતા લોકોને મળી શકે છે. નવા નિયમ મુજબ Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel અને Vodafone Idea જેવી telecom companies પાસે 30 દિવસ અથવા તેનાથી ઓછી validity ધરાવતો Voice-SMS-Data bundled plan હોય તો તે જ validity માટે Voice-and-SMS-only વિકલ્પ પણ આપવો પડશે.
